Information that is easily looked up taught as important rote when it is in fact mental plaque, and the linguistic headwinds of scientific disciplines are two of my biggest pet peeves in education. Monophyleticly speaking anthozoa are octocorallia and hexacorallia which form a tubular cnidarian with mesenteries that don’t have a reproductive medusa stage, but instead forms a planula unless of course, it buds. Kind of makes you want to study biology, doesn’t it?
