In 2010, out of 34 tested countries, the U.S. ranks 14th in reading, 17th in science and 25th in math.
Basically, we’re terrible. More than any other subjects, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education is undoubtedly the path to the future. In the information age, the reality is that we will fall behind in industrial and economic power if we do not try to reclaim our past innovative glory.
Until someone finds a way to restructure and revitalize our education system, I have found a way to get kids interested in science that is more on their level. I have my dinosaur saddle ready…


obviously the best way to get kids thinking about science is to put everything in terms of blue whales, or which planet something would reach if they were stacked on top of each other.
